The site is called “NewJour”, and it specializes in listing electronically networked journals and newsletters. The list is especially concerned with listing planned, or about to be launched on-line newsletters and journals.

The hope of this website is that participants who see announcements of forthcoming journals and newsletters on sites such as Bitnet, Internet, Usenet or other media, will forward the information to NewJour. Duplicate information is filtered out before going on-line.
